About The Position

This role focuses on the repair and maintenance of injection molding tools to ensure continuous production. Responsibilities include the assembly and disassembly of screws and barrels for cleaning, operating a fluidized bed cleaning system, replacing wear parts, and performing independent turning, milling, and grinding of tool parts. The position also involves obtaining quotations and orders for spare parts, managing the index of screws and barrels, and maintaining MES and SAP systems.

Requirements

• Knowledge acquired as part of a 3-year technical vocational training (e.g. tool mechanic) and extended by 2 years of professional experience in the field of repair of injection molding tools.
• 2-3 years of experience with MES/SAP
• 2-3 years of injection molding troubleshooting
• Must be mechanically inclined I.E., automotive mechanic, Field service tech, Farm mechanic.
• Must be able to use a calipers
• Must be able to read a tape measure,1/16, 1/32, 1/64, 1/8
• Must have own tools, I.E., wrenches, sockets, torque wrench.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be organized when disassembly of tools and reassembly of tools take place.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of injection molding tools in accordance with internal specifications to ensure injection molding production.
• Assembly and disassembly of screws and barrels for cleaning.
• Operating the fluidized bed cleaning system.
• Replacement of wear parts.
• Independent turning, milling, grinding of tool parts.
• Independent obtaining of quotations and orders for spare parts for the maintenance of injection cylinders.
• Index management of screws and barrels.
• Maintenance MES and SAP.
