About The Position

As a GoodGuide, you’ll be a key member of the Mission Services team, reporting to the Vice President of Mission Services. This role advances Goodwill’s mission by supporting employees in achieving personal and professional growth while fostering a healthy, engaged workplace culture. Through individualized coaching, goal setting, and connection to internal programs and community resources, you’ll help employees overcome barriers and achieve meaningful, self-sufficient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of coaching, mentoring, or case management experience preferred
  • Ability to motivate, engage, and support individuals using a strengths-based, person-centered approach
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations
  • Familiarity with community resources and experience working with diverse populations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and use data to track progress and outcomes
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and ability to travel within Goodwill’s service area
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Build trusting, person-centered relationships and develop Individual Career Plans aligned with employees’ personal and professional goals.
  • Assess needs and connect employees to Goodwill programs, community partners, and wrap-around services.
  • Provide guidance in budgeting, financial stability, career growth, and job retention.
  • Monitor progress, maintain regular contact, and ensure follow-through on action plans using case management tools and data tracking.
  • Partner with retail leadership, HR, and community agencies to coordinate services, advocate for employees, and ensure seamless support delivery.
