Under general supervision, responsible for leading the implementation of Employee Health and Safety programs, policies, management systems and strategies in support of all facilities in assigned region. This role involves partnering with local leadership to develop and maintain compliant safety programs and audit processes, implementing safety initiatives to reduce EHS incidents, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring regulatory and safety training is completed. The specialist will also lead Safety Committee teams, partner with HR and Workers Compensation for claim follow-up, complete annual regulatory reporting, and assist in hazardous material management.
