About The Position

Stamford Health is seeking a full-time temporary Employee Health Flu Vaccine RN to join the Employee Health Department team. This position is a temporary Monday through Friday 37.5-hour role with two available shifts. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
BLS certification required.
Active driver's license required.
Minimum of one-year nursing experience required.
Employee may need to travel within 20-mile radius to off-site locations.

Responsibilities

Provides and administers influenza vaccination to all organizational workforce members (i.e. employees, volunteers, medical staff, contractors and others) during the employee flu campaign.
Interacts clinically with all levels and categories of personnel.
Represents and is part of Employee Health and is knowledgeable in all aspects of influenza prevention/immunization in the delivery of this patient care.
Follows CDC, JCAHO and DPH guidelines for influenza vaccination of healthcare workers.
Executes the mandate of delivering influenza vaccination services to hospital employees.
