This position guides new employees, researchers, volunteers, residents, students, and other Health Care Workers (HCWs) through the preplacement and annual screening process. It assists with access issues, information collection, and data management, ensuring adherence to biosafety laboratory, infection control, and EHS/OIC standards. The role provides medical surveillance for occupational exposures, coordinating with other departments and the Medical Director to develop treatment plans for employee patients. It also coordinates a comprehensive employee immunization program and provides education on occupational illness and injury.
