About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking an Employee Health Nurse to join their team. This role may require working at either Baptist Health Louisville or Baptist Health Floyd. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, and providers within the Employee Health Services (EHS) program, reporting to a program manager. Key responsibilities include delivering various program components such as new candidate health screening, annual health compliance, respirator clearance and fit testing, booster immunizations, biometrics, drug screens, cognitive screening, post-exposure services, and worker’s compensation and injury reduction services for the adult population across the health system. Services may also be provided to minors with parental or legal guardian consent. Employees will be assigned to a specific team, program focus, and work location, with potential for cross-training to support multiple program focuses and work at various locations, including remote work for non-clinic based roles if approved and productivity is maintained. The role involves creating a positive and collaborative work environment, aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and values, and collaborating with various Baptist entities to promote company initiatives, ensure timely compliance, manage documentation and reporting, and maintain continuity of care for individuals receiving services through the EHS program.

Requirements

  • RN required.
  • Current licensure by Kentucky Board of Nursing.
  • BCLS required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a RN.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Employee Health, Workers Compensation, Safety, Wellness, and Acute Care knowledge and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver new candidate health screening.
  • Manage annual health compliance.
  • Perform respirator clearance and fit testing.

  • Conduct biometrics screenings.

  • Conduct cognitive screenings.
  • Provide post-exposure services.

  • Collaborate with various Baptist entities to establish and promote company initiatives.
  • Provide convenient services, support timely compliance, associated documentation and/or reporting.
  • Ensure continuity of care for individuals throughout the organization receiving services through the EHS program.
