Responsible for the Employee Health function for the hospital. Conducts Pre-Employment Health Screenings and approves candidates “clear” for hire. Responsible for follow-up with new hires who require additional clearances, testing or immunizations: Interpret lab results for new hires and current employees. Assist with employees who may have work restrictions by coordinating a proper accommodation, if available. Maintains contact with employees who are being accommodated. Assists with follow up for all Bloodborne Pathogen injuries to ensure employees receive proper treatment. Notifies employees of TB Skin Testing requirements and reviews departmental logs for compliance. Prevent transmission of infections between staff ® staff and staff ® patient.
