To learn more visit https://www.doctorshosplaredo.com JOB SUMMARY: The Employee Health/Infection Prevention Nurse plans, organizes, and provides employee health services to all employees/students/volunteers as necessary. The Employee Health Nurse serves as a resource person to any hospital employee/department as requested and assists in asessing, planning, directing, and evalauting all yearly requirements for employees to be in compliance with OSHA, CMS, and JCAHO. Employee Health Nurse works to ensure the health and wellness of our employees provide essential medical services in the workplace, and operate a wellness education program for employees. This role collaborates with our Human Resources, Safety, and Security departments on important matters including workman's compensation, workplace ergonomics, and absence/leave accomodation management. Their expertise and guidance are crucuial in ensuring the well-being of our employees and maintating a safe work environment. Requirements

  • Current Texas RN license required
  • Current BLS required
  • Previous hospital experience required
  • Computer skills to include typing skills and knowledge of programs such as Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of OSHA, CMS and JCAHO preferred
