About The Position

Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Employee Health Services (EHS) Clinical Coordinator to join our Employee Health Department in Wilmington, Delaware. The Clinical Coordinator is an important liaison between the Associate, Human Resources, Departmental leadership, and other care team members. The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate and assist with patient flow, review charts for current information, and ensure the appropriate medical records and services are documented in order to ensure Associate health and safety. Act as a resource and cross cover as needed. Deliver excellent customer service to the Associate, care providers, and other stake holders. Ability to assess and manage clinic flow. Coordinate appointment schedules, coordinate and schedule other functions as needed. Review and data enter appropriate documents, ensuring all pre-employment requirements are completed prior to New Associates first date of employment. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed. Act as a liaison between support services and other clinical divisions. Keep Associates, peers, and stake holders informed of delays. Clean, prepare and stock exam rooms for daily activity. Administer immunizations, collect specimens for clinical testing, and perform Respirator Fit testing as needed. Act as a backup for the fellow clinical and clerical positions and assist where needed. This is to include all Employee Health sites.

Requirements

  • Technical Certification or Degree in Healthcare - Medical Assistant or LPN required.
  • Minimum of 3-6 months experience required.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification required within three months of employment and continue to maintain as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or LPN preferred.
  • Technical skills such as Phlebotomy, injection administration, and data entry.
