About The Position

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a full-time Employee Health Clinical Coordinator/Medical Assistant to join its team in Orlando, Florida. The Clinical Coordinator serves as an important liaison among Associates, Human Resources, departmental leadership, and other care team members. The role coordinates and assists with patient flow, reviews charts for current information, and ensures that appropriate medical records and services are documented to support Associate health and safety. The coordinator also serves as a resource and provides cross-coverage as needed across Employee Health sites.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Completion of a Medical Assistant or LPN program.
Minimum of three months of experience.
AHA BLS Certification within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant certification or a State of Florida LPN License.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service to Associates, care providers, and other stakeholders.
Assess and manage clinic flow; coordinate appointment schedules and other functions as needed.
Review and enter documents, ensuring pre-employment requirements are completed before a new Associate's first day of employment.
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
Act as a liaison between support services and other clinical divisions.
Keep Associates, peers, and stakeholders informed of delays.
Clean, prepare, and stock exam rooms for daily activity.
Administer immunizations, collect specimens for clinical testing, and perform respirator fit testing as needed.
Back up fellow clinical and clerical positions and assist where needed, including at all Employee Health sites.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the employee's Supervisor, Manager, or Chief Wellness Officer.
