About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking an Employee Health & Benefits Sales Consultant to join their team. This role involves consultative selling to mid-market companies, focusing on employee health & benefits and business insurance. The position is responsible for the growth and development of a profitable book of business, including assessing and recommending Employee Health & Benefit services, retaining and satisfying existing clients, and new client production. MMA offers a hybrid work environment and is part of Marsh McLennan, a global professional services firm.

Requirements

  • Proven success in prospecting and outside B2B (business-to-business) selling.
  • Proven track record in asking the right questions to foster credibility quickly and align offerings with client needs.
  • Experience in the midmarket (companies with 50 - 1000 employees).
  • Ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders, including C-Suite business partners.
  • Must be assertive yet consultative.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Prior industry experience strongly desirable.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce a plus.
