About The Position

You will be an essential part of the Market at Wisteria Team, reporting to the Manager of the Market at Wisteria. You’ll provide our guests (both internal and external) with exceptional service by fulfilling different roles throughout the day, dependent on the needs of the store. This role involves acting as a clerk, cashier, barista, juicing, and grab & go specialist, as well as providing support to the team through training, ongoing feedback, and leadership, while also supporting guests through exceptional service and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Serv Safe Food Handler Certification, or the ability to get it within 30 days of hire.
  • PA RAMP Server/Seller Certification, or the ability to get it within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • When acting as a clerk, ensuring the store is ready and welcoming to guests by being clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Greeting each guest warmly, genuinely, and offering assistance.
  • Knowing merchandise and where to locate it.
  • Stocking and maintaining products according to merchandising standards, following FIFO and visual protocols, and tagging/re-tagging items to pricing protocols.
  • Communicating and collaborating with management on inventory, including low stock and short-dated items.
  • Receiving delivery orders and confirming the accuracy of orders and invoices.
  • Performing routine and deep cleaning according to schedule.
  • Ensuring storage and back stock areas are organized and clean.
  • Executing closing checklists precisely.
  • When cashiering, ensuring guests and inventory are properly served and accounted for.
  • Kindly and efficiently interacting with each guest.
  • Accurately operating the Point of Sales system while efficiently processing guest transactions.
  • Handling all cash to protocol.
  • Executing daily financial reporting, documentation, and cash drops to standard.
  • Upholding Responsible Alcohol Management Program requirements through respectful carding practices and appropriate follow-through.
  • Delighting guests with exceptional service and quality products as a Barista, Juicing, & Grab & Go specialist.
  • Executing guest orders to standard.
  • Following all food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Re-stocking and prepping diminishing items in anticipation of meeting future guests’ needs.
  • Executing equipment maintenance schedules to protocol.
  • Executing opening checklists precisely.
  • Supporting the team through training, ongoing feedback, and leadership.
  • Supporting guests through exceptional service, problem-solving, and recovery, as needed.
  • Leading by example by following policies and procedures, acting in respectful, inclusive ways, and taking ownership of the operation.
  • Setting specific, measurable expectations.
  • Giving specific, measurable, timely feedback (both reinforcing and corrective).
  • Developing staff through ongoing training and support.
  • Modeling and fostering open communication by ensuring team members have information, input, and influence.
