About The Position

The Employee Dining Room (EDR) Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all food products served meet established specifications and for maintaining a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable work environment for crew members. This role involves direct interaction with crew members, addressing any complaints immediately, and promoting teamwork with EDR cooks and stewards. The attendant must also ensure food production equipment is handled safely and report any mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all food products served meet the established specifications.
  • Communicates variances from established standards to chef d’ cuisine.
  • Ensures that the proper levels of food items are provided.
  • Ensures that the minimum level of labor is used to perform the required level of production.
  • Communicates and cooperates with chef d’ cuisine.
  • Direct interaction with crewmembers as required, acting immediately on any crewmember complaint.
  • Promotes teamwork with E.D.R. cooks and stewards.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment for crewmembers.
  • Ensures that all food production equipment is handled safely and with reasonable care, reporting mechanical problems to the proper department for repair.
  • Adheres to all appearance and uniform guidelines.
  • Enforces all regulatory internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Must be an outstanding example of a Treasure Bay crew member.
  • Other tasks and functions as directed by the executive chef as well as the chef d’ cuisine.
