Requirements

  • Active Life & Health (L&H) license is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of employee benefits sales/servicing experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC and EZ Lynx software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard L&H products, including medical, ancillary, contributory, company-paid, and voluntary lines.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  • Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience in the insurance or employee benefits field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, primarily for groups ranging from 2-50 lives, with occasional mid-market accounts (50-99 lives).
  • Handle both fully insured and level-funded accounts.
  • Create and manage online client portals (e.g., Employee Navigator).
  • Ensure client compliance management and provide annual compliance notices.
  • Quote, prepare, and present proposals for new business and renewals across all lines of coverage, including medical, ancillary, contributory, company-paid, and voluntary lines.
  • Prepare and host open enrollment meetings and educational sessions for employees as needed throughout the year.
  • Update internal CRM systems and maintain accurate client records.
  • Pull claims reporting for level-funded clients and review findings with clients.
  • Assist with bill audits and provide day-to-day service for company and employee contacts.
