About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and professional Benefits Account Manager to maintain and enhance client relationships while managing a portfolio of fully insured accounts. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, with 1–2 days remote per week and early office closures on Fridays, and the opportunity to work with a supportive and dynamic team. The salary range is $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package. The account portfolio consists of 70–90 fully insured groups, ranging from small groups to accounts with 50–100 employees. The role focuses primarily on preparing and presenting proposals for new and renewal business, with approximately 80% of responsibilities devoted to quoting and 20% to other responsibilities. Occasional travel to client offices may be required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and the ability to connect with clients and team members.
Confidence speaking in front of groups.
Adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
Resilience and the ability to handle constructive feedback.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage a book of business consisting of 70–90 fully insured groups, ranging in size from small groups to accounts with 50–100 employees.
Prepare and present proposals for new and renewal business.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Occasionally travel to client offices as required.
Use Gen4 and Benefits Zone software to manage accounts effectively.
