About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in managing a diverse book of self-funded accounts, ranging from 100 to 5,000 employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in unbundled self-funded benefits, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to manage accounts throughout their full lifecycle. This is a full-time, in-office position requiring a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements

Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
5-10 years of experience in employee benefits account management, with a strong focus on unbundled self-funded accounts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word) is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to stay on top of tasks.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Employee Navigator is a plus.
Sales acumen is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of self-funded employee benefits accounts, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
Oversee the full lifecycle of accounts, including quoting new and renewal business, open enrollment, and ongoing account management.
Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to clients regarding their benefits plans.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Suite and Employee Navigator to manage accounts effectively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
