Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience within employee benefits, human resources, or a related field
  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail essential
  • Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within three months of employment)

Nice To Haves

  • college degree preferred
  • Client presentation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executive in servicing assigned book of benefits accounts
  • Provide customer service for assigned accounts, including handling daily emails and phone calls from clients, vendors, and other team members
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Maintain electronic filing and required data in Benefit Point (agency management system)
  • Participate or assist in the new business process
  • Attend client meetings and open enrollment meetings as needed
  • Prepare, print, and, in some cases, deliver communication material to clients
  • Review contracts, plan documents, and plan summaries for accuracy
  • Prepare benchmark reporting
  • Assist team members with compliance materials, including 5500s, wrap documents, and ACA reporting documents
  • Assist clients with claims, billing, and other day-to-day service issues
