About The Position

Established Insurance agency seeking a detailed-oriented person who demonstrates clear knowledge and understanding of Employee Benefits/Group Health insurance coverages. This role involves managing a book of business, servicing accounts, and working with clients and sales staff to provide optimal insurance solutions.

Requirements

3+ years of experience handling Employee Benefits Insurance Accounts
Experience handling mid-large market accounts (50+ group lives)
Ability to meet/w clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
Experienced with Applied Epic or equivalent agency management system
Must hold an active state P&C License
Excellent Customer Service and Organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High School Diploma required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Full knowledge of insurance products and usages
Ability to advise and consult with clients
Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
Service and monitor account activity
Call existing insured to compliment or “round out” supplemental accounts
Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client’s business
Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Employee Benefits
Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations
Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing
Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries and reviews
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers, and vendors
Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business
