About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefit Account Manager or Senior Account Manager (depending on experience) to join a team. This role involves managing a book of business consisting of 30 total groups, with account sizes averaging 50 groups and above. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent client service skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans for client accounts.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in employee benefits account management.
  • Proven experience with strategy development, renewal presentations, and proposal preparation.
  • Strong understanding of fully insured plans (90% of the book), with some experience in level-funding (10% of the book).
  • No self-funding experience required.
  • Active Life & Health (L&H) license preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Proficiency in using account management systems (training on internal systems will be provided).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business consisting of 30 groups, with an average group revenue of $20,000.
  • Provide exceptional client service through three touchpoints per year with clients and producers.
  • Develop and present strategic plans, renewal presentations, and proposals to clients.
  • Handle day-to-day servicing of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client strategies.
  • Utilize internal systems, including Dynamix, to manage accounts effectively (training will be provided).
