Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources management or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as an ER Specialist/Generalist with emphasis on employee/labor relations, preferably in a Healthcare/Hospital setting.
  • Experience in counseling, conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA/CFRA, COBRA, OSHA, CAL/OSHA and other HR related regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Addressing and resolving workplace issues, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Working closely with management and employees to provide guidance on employee-related matters and contribute to the development and maintenance of a healthy organizational culture.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced professional in the field of labor relations, with an ability to interpret labor law and apply it to various situations.
