Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources management or related field preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as an ER Specialist/Generalist with emphasis on employee/labor relations, preferably in a Healthcare/Hospital setting.
Experience in counseling, conflict resolution and problem-solving.
Knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA/CFRA, COBRA, OSHA, CAL/OSHA and other HR related regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

Addressing and resolving workplace issues, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Working closely with management and employees to provide guidance on employee-related matters and contribute to the development and maintenance of a healthy organizational culture.
Must be knowledgeable and experienced professional in the field of labor relations, with an ability to interpret labor law and apply it to various situations.
