The Emotional Intelligence Training Instructor | Emotional Intelligence Training [USARC0011011] is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Content Subject Matter Expert/Instructor II. We seek Emotional Intelligence Training Instructor | Emotional Intelligence Training [USARC0011011] candidates with relevant DOD/Military Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for DOD/Military Sector Clients such as USARC. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Emotional Intelligence Training Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline Professional - Civilian Training Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Emotional Intelligence Training Instructor [Civilian Training Services] aligned with the Emotional Intelligence Training Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Discipline in the DOD/Military Industry Sector. This role focusses on HC | Human Capital Solutions for clients such as United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) | USARC Civilian Training Services - 'Civilian Personnel Management Office (CPMO) Generally Located In CONUS - Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC and Virtual Delivery) and across the Southeastern United States / U.S. East Coast Region (Of Country/World) Hybrid – On/Off Client Site and Virtual. Delivering emotional intelligence learning solutions that strengthen workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance. The Emotional Intelligence Training program is a leadership and professional development course designed to strengthen participants’ ability to recognize, understand, manage, and positively influence emotions in themselves and others. Through self-awareness, empathy, relationship management, and behavioral analysis, participants develop the interpersonal competencies necessary to lead effectively, communicate with greater impact, and build high-performing teams. The program combines coaching, facilitated discussions, reflective exercises, and assessment-based learning to enhance workplace relationships, decision-making, resilience, and organizational effectiveness across civilian and defense environments. Learning Objectives: Recognize and manage emotions in self and others; strengthen self-awareness and empathy; improve communication and relationship management; build trust; manage difficult conversations and feedback; improve team effectiveness; and apply emotional intelligence principles to leadership and workplace challenges.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • instructional certifications preferred
  • Primarily focused on Professional and Management Development Training initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities Emotional Intelligence Training Functional Area Activities.
  • Facilitation, adult learning, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, assessment.
  • Leadership, collaboration, problem solving, communication, adaptability, customer focus.
  • Integrates LMS platforms, audio/visual technologies, interactive exercises, and performance-based learning methodologies.
  • Requires specialized subject matter expertise in emotional intelligence, behavioral awareness, communication, self-assessment, coaching, and 360-degree assessment interpretation.
  • NACI eligibility required
  • supports USARC CPMO Civilian Leadership & Development Program
  • in-person and virtual delivery
  • understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio
  • able to quickly learn other tools as needed
