About The Position
The STEP (Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals) Program at Standard Electric is designed for recent college graduates and early-career professionals to learn the electrical distribution industry and build a long-term career. Participants complete a structured rotational program with hands-on experience across operations, sales, customer service, business analytics, and specialized career tracks. The program includes mentorship, professional development, collaboration with peers, travel to company locations for networking and learning, and opportunities to present strategic projects and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through warehouse and distribution operations.
