About The Position

Standard Electric's STEP (Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals) Program is designed for recent college graduates and early-career professionals who want to learn the electrical distribution industry and build a long-term career. Participants rotate through key areas of the business, gaining hands-on experience in operations, sales, customer service, and business analytics. The program provides mentorship, structured career development, training, and exposure to different career tracks.

Participants learn from experienced leaders and industry experts, attend professional development workshops, collaborate with colleagues across the organization, travel to company locations for networking and learning, and present strategic projects and recommendations to senior leadership. Standard Electric is part of Sonepar and offers access to training, career advancement, and opportunities to grow within Standard Electric and Sonepar.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership potential.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
