About The Position

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking an Emerging Disruptive Technologies (EDT) Analyst that will be responsible for producing assessments projecting the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and the potential impact to Defense Critical Infrastructure and U.S. nuclear weapons worldwide.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex information and identify trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts and insights
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Proficiency in research methodologies and the ability to apply them to multifaceted problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with teams effectively
  • Familiarity with intelligence collection methods and the ability to drive collection efforts.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and challenge differing perspectives.
  • Knowledge of defense intelligence processes and products
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess future technologies and their military applications by foreign states and non-states
  • Produce assessments projecting the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact
  • Produce assessments on insights into foreign technology developments, trends, and futures
  • Collaborate with all-source analysts across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) or IC, and with S&T partners
  • Produce intelligence supporting the production o the National Security Threat Capabilities Assessment and threat assessments
  • for the labor category.
  • Communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced
  • Structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Collaborate and work with other Intelligence Community (IC) members on information sharing, driving collection efforts, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems and provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph
