About The Position

This role involves analyzing and assessing emerging and future technologies and their military applications by foreign states and non-states. The analyst will produce assessments projecting the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies, and provide intelligence supporting the National Security Threat Capabilities Assessment. Responsibilities also include producing assessments on insights driven by trends, futures, and understanding of cyber networks and their incorporation into targeted multi-domain activities. The analyst will maintain cognizance of events within US government systems and internationally to identify relationships to the established knowledge base, identify threat knowledge gaps and intelligence shortfalls related to Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDT), and validate existing collection strategy, requirements, and methodology, including counter-effects efforts. Additionally, the role requires assessing other countries' various stages of EDT research, development, testing, and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 8+ years of experience as a HUMINT Targeting Specialist or another agency/organizational equivalent
  • Prior experience supporting enabling operations, either identifying and creating the opportunities or supporting ongoing operations
  • Certification from the Fundamental HUMINT Targeting Course (FHTC), Advanced HUMINT Targeting Course or Target Network Profiling Course (TNPC), Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC) (or their Title 50 equivalent)
  • Current TS/SCI w/CI polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting enabling operations to include AFO/OPE
  • Previous HUMINT operational background directly supporting and/or conducting full-spectrum strategic HUMINT operations (above MSO)
  • Previous experience providing HUMINT support to TF or SOF
  • Previous support to Strategic Intelligence Collection against Hard Target (non-CT) issues
