This role involves contributing to the identification and assessment of Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) to support the Warfare Development Agenda. The analyst will promote experimentation with EDT-based solutions, provide input for programming EDT activities within ACT S&T POW, and influence the adoption of EDTs to address capability shortfalls. The position requires providing advice on EDTs to inform strategic foresight, NATO defense planning, and capability development efforts. This includes formulating capability requirements, experimentation, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), and concept development. The analyst will identify capability shortfalls that could benefit from EDTs by analyzing NDPP products and operational lessons learned, and educate HQ SACT staff on EDT opportunities and risks. A key responsibility is organizing and managing a knowledge base on EDT adoption for Warfare Development, facilitating information exchange among stakeholders. The role operates within the Innovation Branch under Multi-Domain Force Development, executing tasks as directed by superiors related to Science and Technology.
