About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking an Emerging Accounts Sales Executive II to join their team in Los Angeles, California. This role involves selling IT services and solutions to clients, focusing on building lasting relationships and exceeding sales quotas. The position requires a deep understanding of the IT services market, particularly in Southern California, and the ability to articulate how NTT DATA's offerings can address client challenges. The executive will be responsible for developing strategies, assessing opportunities, and driving sales across various segments and industries.

Requirements

  • 8 years direct sales experience selling IT services.
  • College Degree or 8 years work experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 40% of the time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates boardroom executive presence.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep understanding of the IT services market in the Southern California area, including current challenges and how NTT DATA's services can provide value.
  • Understanding of the IT professional services/managed services market with proven experience selling in areas such as digital transformation, application development & outsourcing, cloud services, IT security, automation, and data analytics.
  • Understanding of the IT professional services competitive landscape and NTT DATA competitors.
  • Business acumen to interface and successfully influence multiple C-level executives.
  • Recognized as a thought leader in the industry, the NTT DATA business model, and competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Interface and successfully influence multiple C-level executives within the customer organization.
  • Assess potential opportunities and develop value propositions.
  • Drive the sales process from opportunity identification to closing.
  • Design and implement strategy to build lasting client relationships.
  • Meet and/or exceed annual quotas (TCV).
  • Understand and apply the long-term vision of business/technology direction for NTT DATA.
  • Focus on selling services solutions across geographies, segments, and/or industries.
