About The Position

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience Schedule: Full-Time, 12 hour shifts, 12pm - 12am Weekend availability, Holidays, and on-call rotation required Emergency Technician duties include, but are not limited to, triaging emergencies, performing phlebotomy, placing IV catheters, and providing nursing care to hospitalized patients, as well as conducting in-house laboratory and diagnostic tests and supporting anesthetic induction, monitoring, and assistance with emergency and/or surgical procedures. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of previous Veterinary experience required, LVT or CVT preferred but not required
  • Ability to Triage and Assess patients, and respond accordingly while critically thinking and maintaining a calm demeanor in stressful situations
  • Flexibility to work in different areas of the hospital (Cross Training)
  • Dependable, Knowledgeable, Experienced, Detail Oriented
  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus

Responsibilities

  • Triaging emergencies
  • Performing phlebotomy
  • Placing IV catheters
  • Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients
  • Conducting in-house laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Supporting anesthetic induction, monitoring, and assistance with emergency and/or surgical procedures
