Emergency Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
VCA Carriage Hills Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Emergency Veterinary Assistant for its 24-hour emergency and referral hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. The hospital handles multi-trauma and critical cases and provides a range of services, including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, ultrasound, digital x-rays, endoscopy, oncology, internal medicine, boarding, grooming, cancer treatment, orthopedic care, neurosurgical care, and critical care. The position offers opportunities to build or refine emergency skills in a supportive setting that encourages continuing education and career development. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday day shifts. Salary is $18–$21 per hour, negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
