About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing after-hours emergency hospital. Founded and operated by veterinarians dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency medicine, BluePearl is a leading provider of veterinary emergency care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on high-quality medicine, compassionate care, and continued growth. BluePearl Lee’s Summit has proudly supported pets and families in the southeastern Kansas City metropolitan area since 1993. Our 6,000-square-foot after-hours veterinary facility is equipped with advanced technology and tools to provide exceptional emergency care for pets, including an intensive care unit (ICU) with a dedicated suite for critically ill and injured pets featuring sophisticated monitoring technology, diagnostic capabilities to help identify a patient’s specific medical condition, and advanced technology and equipment to support efficient evaluation, treatment, and monitoring of emergency patients. Our Emergency Veterinarians work alongside experienced technicians and support staff to provide high-quality care for pets with urgent and critical medical needs. As our hospital continues to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and help shape the continued development of emergency medicine at BluePearl Lee’s Summit. Our team is made up of dedicated clinicians, technicians, and support staff who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Missouri.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in emergency and critical care medicine.
- Completion of a rotating internship or equivalent experience.
