About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team in Wyomissing, PA. This role is part of BluePearl’s Greater Philadelphia Network, which comprises multiple specialty and emergency hospitals dedicated to high-quality, compassionate patient care in a collaborative setting. The Wyomissing hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostics and facilities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house lab, oxygen cages, and surgical suites. The position offers a dynamic environment for delivering expert care to critically ill or injured pets, utilizing cutting-edge tools, performing life-saving procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of specialists. The role also emphasizes compassionate engagement with pet owners, clear communication, and a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree required.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
