About The Position

Animal Emergency of Pasco is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team in New Port Richey, Florida. This established small animal hospital, founded in 1990, has been serving the community for over 30 years and is known for its thoughtful care across a diverse caseload. The hospital fosters a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture with a focus on long-term stability. The team includes a manager and partner doctor with over three decades of experience, creating a supportive environment. In addition to urgent and critical cases, the hospital also cares for exotics and local wildlife, and works with the local police department, offering significant case variety. The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostics and technology, including a unique blood bank, ultrasound, dental imaging, and new oxygen cages.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
• Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain)
• DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Proficient in general medicine and surgery
• Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
• Passion for emergency medicine
