About The Position

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) is a growing group of emergency veterinary hospitals dedicated to expanding into and supporting communities that need 24/7 emergency care. As a veterinarian-led company founded by local general practice veterinarians, EVCC fosters a collaborative, team-first environment. We are committed to delivering exceptional, around-the-clock care. Our structured mentorship program is designed for newly graduated veterinarians transitioning into emergency veterinary medicine, aiming to build confidence, develop critical ER skills, and provide full support during their growth. Requirements

Graduate of an AVMA accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program
Possesses state veterinary license in good standing or eligible to obtain one
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
Exceptional interpersonal skills and compassionate "bedside" manner, building trust and strong relationships with clients–both human and furry alike

Responsibilities

Provide emergency veterinary medicine in the Westville area.
Participate in a structured mentorship program for new graduates.
Develop critical ER skills through hands-on guidance and case discussions.
Build relationships within the medical team and gain exposure to a variety of clinical cases.
Develop independence through a mix of solo and overlapping shifts.
Collaborate with mentors and leadership on progression and development.
Provide compassionate care to clients and their pets.
