About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team in Malvern, PA. This role is part of BluePearl’s Greater Philadelphia Network, which includes multiple specialty and emergency hospitals dedicated to high-quality, compassionate patient care in a collaborative environment. The facility is conveniently located to serve pets in Malvern and surrounding communities. The position involves delivering expert care to critically ill or injured pets, utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic tools, performing life-saving procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of specialists. The role also requires compassionate engagement with pet owners, clear communication on medical conditions and treatment plans, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

DVM/VMD degree required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine and critical care (ECC) preferred but not required.
General Practice (GP) or Humane Animal Medicine practice experience.
