About The Position

Animal Emergency Center of Temple-Belton is a veterinarian-owned and operated emergency hospital offering emergency and critical care, surgery, digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and hospitalization. We believe in practicing great medicine while maintaining a healthy life outside the hospital. We are looking for an ER practice where your experience is valued, your clinical judgment is trusted, and your team has your back.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Active Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• 2+ years clinical practice experience preferred
• Strong emergency, critical-care, diagnostic, anesthesia, and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and client-service skills
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced ER environment

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care.
• Perform surgery.
• Utilize digital radiography.
• Conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics.
• Manage hospitalization cases.
