About The Position
Animal Emergency Center of Temple-Belton is a veterinarian-owned and operated emergency hospital offering emergency and critical care, surgery, digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and hospitalization. We believe in practicing great medicine while maintaining a healthy life outside the hospital. This role is for an experienced emergency veterinarian looking for great medicine, clinical autonomy, a strong team, and a sustainable career.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Active Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
- 2+ years clinical practice experience preferred
- Strong emergency, critical-care, diagnostic, anesthesia, and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and critical care.
- Perform surgery.
- Utilize digital radiography.
- Conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics.
- Manage hospitalization cases.
- Work independently in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
