About The Position
Horizon Veterinary Specialists is seeking a knowledgeable and eager Emergency Veterinarian to join their Emergency & Critical Care Team. This role involves providing 24/7 emergency and critical care services to small animal patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for emergency surgery and other aspects of veterinary medicine, a positive attitude, confidence, attention to detail, and diligence. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and clients with kindness and understanding, especially in sensitive emergency situations. The position offers opportunities for collaboration, daily rounds, and consultation with other doctors.
Requirements
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in California.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
