Emergency Technician 0.6 FTE Night
About The Position
The Emergency Technician at Providence Milwaukie Hospital works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care and support positive patient care outcomes. The role assists physicians and nurse practitioners during procedures by providing appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment, and maintains proper sterile technique during procedures. This is a 0.6 FTE part-time position working weekdays and weekends on a night shift. Requirements
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) annually upon hire.
- One year of relevant experience.
Nice To Haves
- Patient care or clinical experience is preferred; experience acquired during a certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel, or experience as a senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
- Current or previous EMT or Paramedic experience, completion of a Medical Assistant Program, or a CNA certificate upon hire.
