Emergency Technician - Emergency Services
About The Position
Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure. Requirements
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)
- Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) (Annually)
- 1 year of relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred.
- Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
Nice To Haves
- Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate (Upon hire)
