About The Position

Responsible for assisting the nurse with patient care activities while considering patients’ developmental levels. The role requires strong communication, appropriate handling of confidential patient information, and responsiveness to the hospital’s mission. The Emergency Tech promotes a patient- and family-oriented experience and helps adapt to changing census and the needs of internal and external customers. A CPR-BLS certificate is required within two weeks of hire.

Requirements

• CPR-BLS certificate required within two weeks of hire.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding to ask questions and report patient information as indicated.
• Ability to handle patient information while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

• Accept delegated tasks, ask questions when needed, and report patient information as indicated.
• Handle patient information appropriately and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
• Comply with the safety management program to help maintain a hazard-free physical environment and reduce injury risk.
• Promote a patient- and family-oriented experience.
• Respond to changing census and the needs of internal and external customers.
• Remain knowledgeable about and responsive to the hospital’s mission.
