About The Position
River Hospital is seeking a Per Diem ER Clerk/Technician for our Emergency Department. Responsibilities of this job include attending to daily needs of the patients as delegated by the ER Charge Nurse as well as handling clerical duties under the supervision of the charge nurse.
Requirements
- Experience as EMT, ER Clerk or similar
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PC and keyboard skills required
- Accurate clerical skills
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills necessary
- Employee must know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession.
- Employee must notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue.
- Employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a related position is preferred
