About The Position
Emergency Room RN Department: ER What if you had the opportunity to make a difference? Carroll County Memorial Hospital’s role is to improve the health and well-being of the residents and visitors to Carroll County and surrounding counties, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities. Hourly Full Time: 6:45p to 7:15a; 36 hours per week, weekends rotated Physical Location: Carroll County Memorial Hospital 309 11 th St. Carrollton, KY 41008
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (required)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Current licensure held/recognized by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or licensure by Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services required
Nice To Haves
- Certification in area of specialty (preferred)
- One to two years ER experience (preferred)
Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family needs for age’s neonate through geriatric
- Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency
- Address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers
- Manages patient care assignments and/or additional tasks related to patient and unit operations
- Acting in a clinical leadership role, applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties
