About The Position

This is a full-time night shift position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The role requires current licensure in California and specific certifications including ACLS, PALS, and CPR. Experience in emergency, telemetry, or critical care is necessary. The position also includes training for managing aggressive patients and their families, in compliance with the hospital's workplace violence policy.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• One year experience in an emergency, telemetry or critical care area.
• Current American Heart Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire.
• Training for care of behavioral health/aggressive-combative patients, families, visitors, etc., within three (3) months of hire and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including workplace violence prevention.
• Maintain required certifications and licensure.
