Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Titan Placement Group is recruiting an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a healthcare organization in Panama City, Florida. The nurse will provide direct nursing care according to the organization’s established policies, procedures, and protocols; advocate for patients and families while protecting privacy and confidentiality; assess patients and make nursing diagnoses; and provide plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement. The position offers a salary range of $27.72–$39.60, with pay depending on experience; experience as a CNA, LPN, surgical technologist, or paramedic counts toward RN experience. Schedules are described as days or mixed, with rotating weekends. Weekend work earns an additional $1.50 for Friday through Sunday. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is paid over two years.
Requirements
- Hold a Florida Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations, or appropriate compact licensure; if holding a compact license, obtain an active Florida RN license within 90 days of hire.
- Nursing diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting within the last year.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
- Ability to perform work involving frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
