About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides care in the Emergency Department of a Critical Access Hospital designated Trauma Level 4. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and coordinates patient care from admission through discharge and works to achieve patient outcomes by implementing clinical pathways. The role uses accepted standards and protocols for emergency, cardiac, pediatric, and trauma care. Critical Access Hospital experience is preferred. The position is on nights, with 12-hour shifts from 1800 to 0630. Holiday coverage and on-call work are required. Shared housing is available at a reduced inclusive rate: a co-ed, three-bedroom, two-bathroom arrangement with no smoking, pets, families, or partners permitted. All requests for time off must be disclosed during the interview process.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- TNCC certification.
- Availability for night shifts, holiday coverage, and on-call work.
- Disclose all time-off requests during the interview process.
