About The Position

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and coordinates patient care within the Emergency Department. The role provides care from patient admission through discharge and ensures adherence to established standards and protocols. The ideal candidate has experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting, preferably with trauma experience. The position requires three 12-hour night shifts and two call shifts per week, with holiday coverage and on-call duties. Shared housing may be available based on capacity, with inclusive rate reductions. Housing is non-smoking and pet-free, and does not accommodate families or partners. Assistance finding unadvertised rental options is available. All time-off requests must be disclosed during the interview process.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Availability for three 12-hour night shifts and two call shifts per week, including holiday coverage and on-call duties.
