About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in an emergency or trauma center, managing a diverse range of patient diagnoses and needs. The emergency department features in-house security and includes separate psych/seclusion rooms as well as the ability to convert ER rooms into crisis rooms as needed. The department supports respiratory therapy for ABGs and breathing treatments. An orientation program will be provided prior to the commencement of the first shift to ensure all staff members are well-prepared.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current TNCC certification required.
• Experience in an emergency department preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential.
• Ability to manage high patient volumes and work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• PALS or ENPC certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a dynamic emergency department environment.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Triage patients effectively, utilizing designated triage areas.
• Manage emergency holds within the ER effectively.
• Utilize medical equipment and technology for patient assessment and treatment.
• Perform blood draws and other clinical procedures as necessary.
