About The Position

An experienced Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment serving the West Kauai community. The LTC RN delivers compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents within the facility's Long-Term Care unit, managing clinical assessments, medication administration, care planning, and interdisciplinary team coordination.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing.
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Flexibility to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize resident needs effectively.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-standard nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing clinical assessments and maintain precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR).
• Administer medications and therapeutic treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Develop, evaluate, and update individualized long-term care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive resident care.
• Maintain a dependable, resident-centered approach while managing assignments independently in a fast-paced environment.
