About The Position
We are seeking experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel contract in State College, PA . The ER RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency department
- Provide emergency care, treatments, and medication administration
- Monitor patient conditions and document clinical information
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop care plans
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and critical patient needs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
