About The Position

As an Emergency Recovery Coordinator (ERC) with Paul Davis, you will be ready to help people in their time of need. You need to think quickly but in a controlled manner to ensure the property owner that you can take care of their property. ERCs work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care as they transition from chaos to calm. ERCs are dynamic speakers and comfortable when interacting in both one-on-one and group settings.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in an outside sales role or customer service role
  • Proficient with a variety of current technology
  • Sound planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage time
  • Thrives under high-stress situations
  • Enjoys working hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Servants heart to take care of others

Nice To Haves

  • Emergency services experience; military, fire service, EMS, police, dispatching of emergency responders
  • Four plus years’ experience in the following areas (any combination): restoration, military, fire services, EMS, police, medical responder, dispatching of emergency responders, construction, insurance
  • Experience in restoration or construction industries is strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated to get results
  • Working with people in need of assistance
  • Is organized, but flexible
  • Fire Service experience

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue opportunities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events
  • Cooperate with public emergency response agencies and private entities
  • Create and retain customer loyalty and preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship with the customer
  • Participate in restoration related community awareness events and programs
  • Proactively searches for, acts upon potential opportunities
  • Develop a positive and trusting relationship with the property owner
  • Educate the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and need
  • Monitor, interpret and respond to lead sources
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community
  • Volunteer non-operational time to related community events
  • On-call 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Achieve and remain current in required certifications
  • Provide emergency recovery kits and services to the impacted property owner
  • Support the office and company in their organizational mission, vision, and values
